About Our Training Centre
Welcome to Pitman Training Bromley! We provide training services to Bromley, Greenwich, Bexley and West Kent. We cover all parts of Bromley, down to Westerham and Biggin Hill, as well as Bexley, Sidcup, Greenwich, Dartford and parts of Lewisham. We have helped people like you to transform their career and income and can do the same for you.
Whether you want to train online or in our centre, our dedicated team is here to look after you. We’ll actively support you throughout your learning and do all we can to ensure you have a really enjoyable and confidence-building experience with us.
We are located in the heart of Bromley town centre, with excellent train and bus service connections to London, West Kent, and beyond. There are shops, pubs and restaurants all nearby. Our centre is an ideal venue for individuals and businesses who want high-quality training near all local transport links and amenities. We’re a short walk from Bromley South or Bromley North railway stations and can be easily reached by bus or car, with parking facilities very close to the centre. Our support doesn’t stop there and we can help you with your career progression through CV reviews, career coaching, and guidance on interview techniques.

Two-Day Touch-Typing Workshop
An underappreciated like-skill for these digital times, this programme is ideal for those who want decisively to “break-the-back” of acquiring touch-typing skills and put themselves on a path to being able to interact with computers efficiently and effortlessly, boosting personal productivity.

To complement self-study at home, our training centre offers a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere where students at all stages of their careers can develop the skills they need, supported by our Learning Coaches. We have modern, high-performance PCs and printing facilities and provide a pleasant environment to take exams, as well as space to relax, read, and research your new job. You will be able to learn in a calm and supportive environment.
Our support doesn’t stop there and we can help you with your career progression through CV reviews, career coaching, and guidance on interview techniques.
In addition to our audio, ebook and online learning materials you will have ongoing support from our Learning Coaches, support that makes a difference. Our coaching team is here to help you achieve your career objectives and get the most from your learning. We are here to support you to develop your skills and apply them at work. Whether you choose to study in our training centre, from home or from your workplace, we provide you with support and help between 8am and 8pm Monday to Saturday so you can continue to study at a pace that suits you during this uncertain time.
We offer a supportive, hands-on approach and know that our training will make a difference. We spend much of our waking life at work. We believe that one of the keys to a happy personal life is to be in a career that you find satisfying and a pre-requisite for that is having the right skills. We want you to succeed and will provide you with the resources to make that happen. We will take the time to learn about your ambitions, understand what works best for you and the level of ongoing support you need.
Our Team
Pitman Training Bromley is led by David Costelloe and Christopher Panas.
- David Costelloe has worked in large organisations like BT, Barclays Bank, and PwC. During his management career, he has recruited over 70 people and interviewed several hundred. He has also been responsible for delivering significant training programmes, to help recruits and existing staff master new skills. Through Pitman Training, David wants to share this practical experience to help people build on their early work experiences, find the career that is right for them, and thrive in it.
- Christopher Panas was director of a privately owned multinational for over 15 years and was governor/trustee of a successful local school for over 10 years. Chris has been involved in the selection and recruitment of people at different stages of their careers and interviewed hundreds of applicants. He is an experienced leadership coach and works with individuals and teams to help develop talent and capabilities. Chris has designed, developed, and delivered training programmes and courses and is passionate about self-development and helping others to be the best they can be and to achieve their goals.
