Welcome to Pitman Training Nottingham, as a leading provider of office administration training we support private individuals and corporate clients to increase productivity and develop new skills.

How to find us
Westminster Buildings are located at the junction of the popular city centre location of Upper Parliament Street and Wollaton Street directly adjacent to Nottingham’s Theatre Royal. Parking – Follow signs for city centre and the Royal Zone for public car parks. The nearest car park is Q-Park, which is 2 minute walk from our learning centre.By Car – From M1 Junction 25, follow Brian Clough Way (A52) for 5.6 miles to Derby Road (A6200) in Nottingham. Continue on Derby Road (A6200) for 2 miles to Upper Parliament Street. By Tram – Royal Centre tram stop is directly outside our front door.By Bus – For bus times visit Trent Barton or Nottingham City Transport. For alternative bus routes visit Traveline East MidlandsBy Rail – Nottingham Station is just 0.6 miles away, a short 10 minute stroll at most.

About Us
Pitman Training’s Nottingham team is led by Chris Wyle an experienced Trainer with experience of working with individuals at all levels, from job seekers, promotion hunters and high flyers to senior staff looking to sharpen the saw. Chris also runs Pitman’s Birmingham office and so you can be assured that his knowledge and experience will help your training journey with us to run smoothly.
Look out for Tim Poly, he is most likely the first person you’ll meet or speak to. Tim is our friendly course advisor, he knows our courses inside out and can help you decide on the training plan most suitable to get you from where you are to where you want to be. He will offer advice and guidance on the jobs market to, ensuring that your skills will be the ones that’s employers are looking for.

Our Centre
Our Nottingham Centre is a great place to drop in to work through your chosen courses and qualifications, a friendly, welcoming environment awaits you. We have a well-appointed training room and 2 separate offices, one is used for exams and the other as a space for students to discuss and review progress with their course tutor.
Facilities
We have a computer suite, set up to deliver Pitman’s excellent courses, set in a comfortable space with plenty of natural light. Our Nottingham City Centre learning centre has a break out area for students to relax and take a break from their studies, aas well as kitchen facilities – there’s even a shower in our building should students wish to make use of it.
Training
As a student with Pitman you will be guided and supported with your training each step of the way. Whether you are in centre or studying remotely help is just a question away. Our renowned training process employs the ‘Tell, Show, Do’ approach to training meaning that training is interactive and enjoyable and above all it means that knowledge sticks – students remember what they have learned.
