Rachel Short studied the Graphic Design Diploma with Pitman Training Chesterfield. Here is what she said about why she chose Pitman Training: –
“I chose to do the graphic Design Diploma because I have always been interested in design but didn’t know much about the tools to use.
The course was self-taught (an online course) and went through all the aspects of design from inDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver to Flash and included little tests/exercises.
The course went in-depth and it was easy to re-do a section if I had missed anything. The information it gave was very helpful and I can easily refer back to my notes now if I ever get stuck on something.
The atmosphere was good and the staff were always on hand if I needed anything.
This course has given me the skills to create intricate designs and I now use them on a daily basis for my employer (work) from creating business cards, posters, invitations and recently a 20 page booklet for the tourist information centre.
It has made me more confident person and this is showing in my design work.
I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in design or who wants to know more.”
